Plastic Extrusion

What Is Plastic Extrusion?

Plastic extrusion is a continuous manufacturing process. Plastic pellets are fed into an extruder, melted at a controlled temperature, then forced through a die engineered to match the part's cross-section.

After leaving the die, the part is cooled, pulled to length, cut, and finished to the specified dimensions.

Suitable For

  • Plastic pipe
  • Plastic channel/track
  • Plastic rod
  • Plastic cord/strip
  • Plastic banding/strip
  • Plastic profile
  • Parts with a continuous cross-section

Key Advantages

  • Fast, continuous production
  • Precise control of shape and cross-section
  • Consistent, uniform parts
  • Supports high-volume production
  • Custom dies can be engineered
  • Lower cost per part at suitable volumes

Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of plastic parts can you manufacture?
We consider pipes, channels, rods, cords, strips, plastic profiles, construction materials, and industrial parts made to drawing.
I don't have a technical drawing — can I still ask about a project?
Yes. You can send photos, a sample part, or simply describe your idea for our team to evaluate.
Do you design dies?
Yes, we consider designing and developing dies based on cross-section, size, material, and intended use.
Can you manufacture small quantities?
Feel free to ask — minimum quantities depend on the part design, material, die, and production process.
What materials do you support?
We consider materials such as PVC, PE, PP, PC, ABS, PET, and PS.
Is trial production always required first?
New parts or new dies should go through trial production so you can review the result before full production begins.
How long does production take?
Timing depends on complexity, quantity, material, die requirements, and the current production queue.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, delivery is available under agreed terms; cost depends on location and order volume.
